Professional Book Formatting & Layout

Your book, polished and ready for readers.

A clean, readable interior is one of the most defining features of a professional book. Your words deserve a layout that feels polished — not messy or amateur. I format manuscripts to industry standards so your readers stay focused on the story, not the spacing.

Each book is formatted individually — no templates, no shortcuts.

Every formatting project includes:

Custom layout based on genre and audience

  1. Clear hierarchy (consistent headings, chapter openings, body text)

  2. Front-matter setup (title page, copyright page, TOC)

  3. Back-matter setup (acknowledgements, about the author, references, etc.)

  4. Scene break styling

  5. Image placement and spacing (if applicable)

  6. PDF proof to review before final delivery

  7. Print-ready PDF + ebook files (EPUB + Kindle) if included in your package

Clean, well-structured formatting makes your book easier to read and more professional from the first page to the last.

  • For print books, you’ll receive a print-ready PDF. For ebooks, you will receive a reflowable EPUB with clickable links and table of contents.

  • If you choose a package that includes upload services, yes — I handle KDP upload with your login details. Formatting alone does not include uploading.

  • Turnaround depends on word count and complexity. Most projects are completed within 7 to 10 days. If you have a deadline, tell me at booking and we can schedule accordingly.

  • Yes. Three rounds of adjustments are included. Additional revisions can be added if needed.

  • Yes. If you’re not sure whether your book should be 5.5x8.5, 6x9, or another size, I’ll help you choose based on genre, cost, and reader experience.

  • Yes. Ebook covers and full jackets are available as add-ons or as part of full publishing-prep packages.

  • Of course. You can message me and include a few details about your book — genre, length, and what stage you’re at — and I’ll tell you the best next step.
