Formatting and Interior Layout

Your book, polished and ready for readers.

A clean, readable interior is one of the most defining features of a professional book. Your words deserve a layout that feels polished — not messy or amateur. I format manuscripts to industry standards so your readers stay focused on the story, not the spacing.

Every formatting project includes:

Custom layout based on genre and audience

  1. Clear hierarchy (consistent headings, chapter openings, body text)

  2. Front-matter setup (title page, copyright page, TOC)

  3. Back-matter setup (acknowledgements, about the author, references, etc.)

  4. Scene break styling

  5. Image placement and spacing (if applicable)

  6. PDF proof to review before final delivery

  7. Print-ready PDF + ebook files (EPUB + Kindle) if included in your package

Starting from $299
Typical turnaround: 7–14 business days

Formatting is a technical/design step — it does not include editing.
If your manuscript still needs a polish, I offer proofreading and copyediting as separate services, and I also offer full publishing-prep packages that bundle editing, formatting, cover design, metadata, and more. If you’re unsure which you need, I can help you choose the right level.
